What does "unlock" mean here?

This tool removes the user password (the password required to open a file) when you already know it. It re-encrypts and saves the document without a password so you can open it without entering one again.

Important limits

This is not a password-cracking tool. If you do not know the password, it cannot recover the file. For that, you would need the original password or authorized access.
