What is the Dragon-Tiger list?
Each trading day, after the close, the exchanges disclose top-5 buyer and seller seats for stocks meeting anomaly thresholds — the Dragon-Tiger list (LHB). Thresholds include ±7% price change top-5, 20% turnover top-5, 15% intraday range top-5, and 3-day cumulative ±20% top-5.
Four rankings, four angles
- Top stocks: stocks repeatedly appearing on LHB, sorted by appearance count and net buy.
- Institutions: aggregated broker / mutual-fund / insurance / social-security "institution seats" net activity.
- Branches: Eastmoney "Lhasa gang" / "Eastmoney Lhasa East Ring Rd Branch #1" etc. — usually hot-money hubs.
- Traders: trader-level ranking inside branches (limited interfaces) — top-tier capital flows.
How to read
- High appearances + low net buy: theme hot but capital dispersed — "lots of theme, weak concentration."
- Single-stock net buy > 1% of float: usually institutional, not retail hot-money.
- Branch coordination: multiple branches under the same group appearing on the buy side = coordinated bidding.
- Institution vs hot-money: institutions are longer-term, hot-money shorter-term; both on one stock needs a closer look.
