    How PDF splitting works

    Why split a PDF?

Splitting lets you pull out only the relevant pages — a single chapter, an invoice, or a signature page — without sharing the entire document.

    Privacy first

This tool uses pdf-lib running entirely in your browser. The PDF is never uploaded to any server, so sensitive documents stay on your device.

    Built with pdf-lib, an open-source MIT-licensed library.

    FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.
What page ranges can I extract?
You can list individual pages (e.g. 1,3,5) and ranges (e.g. 2-4), combined with commas. Leave the field empty to extract every page.
    Are there file size limits?
Processing is limited by your device memory. Very large PDFs may be slow, but no server-side limit applies.
